Change or erase inbuild program and build new program in nRF52840 dongle

Hello,

I have nRF52840 dongle. As we know that this dongle connect with Computer with USB port.

As per my project requirement i need to connect (soldering) with another microcontroller chip which is available in one device, after soldering i need to connect that device with mobile appication via bluetooth. 

so inshort i don't need USB port i just need chip  where i can do programing according to communicate with another microcontroller chip  in the device and then communicate viw bluetooth with my android mobile application.

So it is possible without USB port?

If Yes then how can i change code and write my own required code.

OR suggest me another device

Hello,

I think this detail is for nRF52832 development kit which contains development kit board PCA10040.

But i have nRF52840 preview development kit which contains development kit board PCA10056.

So i need description for nRF52840.    

Or it is same for both?

Please guide me.

Yes, of course you need to study the documentation for the particular board that you have!

They are all online.

The 'Getting Started' links are general.

The chip documentation is not dependent on the board.

The SDK documentation covers all supported boards.
