Prevent Relaying of Mesh DFU

Mesh DFU works like:

if(fw_updated_event_is_for_me())
    update_and_relay();
else
    relay();

Is there a way to change this behaviour to:

if(fw_updated_event_is_for_me())
    update_without_relay();
else
    relay();

How to do this?

Is there a way to change this behaviour to

 I'm afraid there is no way to change the behavior to what you are looking for. 

A possibility could be to change the dfu_evt_handler in nrf_mesh_dfu.c so that the node will not send the DFU data packets at all. 
Note that: 

else
    relay(); 

won't relay any packets either if you do that.
