Program stuck in ble_stack_init until reset button on dev board is pressed

Hi, I am developing with the pac10040 dev board, trying to get the BLE running. 

My program seems to pause in the ble_stack_init function and I have to press the "IF BOOT/RESET" button on the board for it to continue running. How do I avoid this issue?

The CPU processing does not pause (unless halted by the debugger). You need to start your application in the debugger, let it run for a while and then hit the pause button to see where the Program Counter is pointing. This will tell you if your application is looping in some condition.

Sorry, I was wrong. I realized that there is actually pause when the program just entered the main loop. 

The disassembly screen shows this, but I don't quite understand the problem.

Please advise on what might be causing this issue. Thank you!

in Keil or SES debug option, you can tell the debugger to run it to the beginning of main().

You need to click the run button for it to start execution.

I am using SES. How do I disable the pause? I can't seem to find an option to do so. I would like my program to run automatically, instead of pausing at main to wait to the start button to be clicked again.
