Does the soft device stack embed the CMSIS RTOS RTX?

One question came to mind while browsing through the SDK example code documentation: as there is a blinky and a blinky RTX example, do all the projects which use the soft device also need an RTOS? or is the RTOS embedded in the soft device? And if yes, is it the CMSIS RTOS, or just some proprietary scheduling mechanism?

You don't need to RTX RTOS to use the SoftDevices. The RTOS isn't embedded in the SoftDevice. There is a scheduler, but there's an example of using a SoftDevice without it.
