Hi

I am trying to start development with Bluetooth Mesh. As per the documentation here, I have installed nRF Command Line Tools. While running the python script "quick_start_demo.py", the code asks for "Board Index or Segger ID". What does that mean? Where do I find the board index?

If you are using a DK you can find the Segger ID here(look at the attached image):

Thanks a lot. It solved the problem. If we are using custom board(s), without the development kit, how can we find the Segger ID?

Do you have an onboard debugger?

No. I do not have an onboard debugger for the custom boards. However, I have one Development Kit(DK) and I am using the debugger on DK for the custom boards.

The script relies on the nrfjprog and segger IDs to be provided by the connected hardware. If you using the DK as a debugger, like you do, then you can find the Segger ID on the debugger. But you can't use it directly with a custom board without a debugger with a Segger ID.
