What is the reason Nordic dont want to provide yet dual mode solution - BR/EDR + BLE? - There are plenty of legacy BT devices on the market and the new BLE devices doesnt work so seamless on plenty of popular OS like the old fashion BR/EDR devices?

Bluetooth BR/ EDR( i.e Bluetooth version 2.0 and v2.1) has been deprecated and is scheduled for withdrawal by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group(SIG) on 28/01/2019 and 01/07/2020, see
https://www.bluetooth.com/specifications/archived-specifications/
Hence, there is no point for Nordic to spend R&D resources on developing a dual mode chip when the specification for one of the modes is going to be deprecated within short time.

Hello,
I return to this subject. BT core specification for 2.0 and 2.1 are deprecated.
But, the Bluetooth core 5.0 and 5.2 specification contains the chapter about BR/EDR.
Does it means, Nordic BT5.0 or BT5.2 compliant products are able to communicate in BR/EDR mode?
Best regards,
