How to accurately find the time between start of a reading sensor and end of the reading sensor?

Hi everyone,

My code flow is 

1. Read Battery 
2. Read Sensor

3. Send Data

4. Update Display

I want to know the time taken between the first step(Read Battery) and  after the 4th Step(Update display) is done.

is there any function/way to calculate this?

What accuracy are you after?

If a 1ms interval is accurate enough then you can use the Nordic app timer library.

It is pretty easy to set-up (coming with macros that will convert milliseconds to clock ticks) and a useful API.

You can then start a timer, get timer readings when you wish and check the difference between them.
