BLE consumption peripheral to high

Hi, i'm using two nrf52840 DK ev kit. One it's the central and one the peripheral

After the connection I need to save power at the peripheral board, because the cpnsumptio it's too high: 1.2mA

How can I reduce this current? I tried to put the NRF in sleep mode by set the power managemet macro in sdk file, but after he lose the connection.

Hi, if the UART is constantly enabled in RX mode the consumption will be about 1.2mA. Try to turn of the UART RX before going to sleep. The easiest might be to uninitialize the UART module before going to sleep, and re-initialize it when waking up.
