Power measurement using active power analyzer

Hi,

We have a third party active power analyzer which cannot be kept in only current measuring mode. It always provide supply of 3.3 to 5V.

The DK configurations we tried is: SW10 ON, SW9 VDD, SW8 ON, SW6 nRF only, J2 USB for DK supply, SB40 cut but have jumper on P22, external supply from power analyzer to P21 and trying to measure current consumed by SoC.

Is this board setup correct?

Can any one provide nRF52840 DK board configuration to measure nRF52840 chip current only?

Thanks for the link. I think LEDs on the board wont work with those configurations right.

I have cross checked with peripheral/blinky example.

Hi Jonnavittula, 

Correct. The LEDs will not work with the settings described in the post.  

If you set SW6 to DEFAULT, the LEDs will work. But then you might see higher current consumption. Therefore, it's not the best setting for measuring current.
