What are you confused about?

Look at any of the SDK examples which uses the UART

Exactly the same as any other UART:

• the Tx output from  the UART goes to the input of the other device;
• the other device's output goes to the UART's Rx input

And you need to ensure, of course, that the voltage levels are compatible.

You can look at the Dev Kit schematics for an example.
