Invalid software, no value for clenr0 specified

Hi,

I'm using nRF51822 Development Kit and trying to program softdevice with nRFgo Studio. The file to program is C:/Program Files (x86)/Nordic Semiconductor/nRFgo Studio/hex/nrf24le1_rf_test.hex. However, error message pops out, "Softdevice C:/Program Files (x86)/Nordic Semiconductor/nRFgo Studio/hex/nrf24le1_rf_test.hex programming failed: Invalid SoftDevice, no value for CLENR0 specified." I've tried other hex file, but results were the same.

How can I solve this?

Hi

Seems like you are trying to program nRF51822 with code made for nRF24LE1 which is a different hardware and therefore does not work. Please install the nRF51 SDK or download a nRF51 SDK zip file to use with your nRF51822 device. To get started, this blog might be useful.
