nRFgo Studio does not recognise nRF51

Question

The Segger programing interface works. The virtual com port appears on my PC (COM5). The problem is that there is no board listed in the Motherboards section of the Device Manager.
I have loaded and verified the application nRFgoFirmware_7000.hex and the soft device s210_nrf51422_4.0.1_softdevice.hex.
Anybody any suggestions why the Motherboard is not detected?

It is not possible to run the 2.4GHz radio tests through nRFgo Studio. The solution is to load the radio_test_pca10028 example and control it from a terminal programme. Interestingly, although this example application is supposed to be a single character command, it seems to need a space character after the commend character to work properly.
