nrf9160 with VDD and VDD_GPIO at 3.3v ?

So its seems nrf9160 docs recommend having VDD_GPIO only at 1.8v ... that running
at 3.0v (or 3.3v) will compromise LTE performace.

I have 3.3v rail and 3.3v SPI device running at 10 MHz ... so was hoping to just
have nrf9160 VDD and VDD_GPIO tied to 3.3v.

If that's not workable then I'd have to add another voltage regulator for 1.8v and a level-shifter to
convert nrf9160 levels to 3.3v for SPI slave device ....

It's recommended to use a GPIO voltage of 1.8 V only if you need to use high speed GPIOs near the radio, i.e on the right hand side of the module.
