Encrypted data packets are not being visible using nRF52 DK tool.

Hi,

We are using  nRF52 DK tool to sniff BLE data. We we using Wireshark plugin to interface nRF52 DK tool. nRF52 is updated with latest firmware. We keep the tool in between Central and peripheral units. When we disable encryption in our devices and try to sniff the communication between central and peripheral, we are able to see the paring(advertizing) as well as data packets communication in wireshark window. But when Encryption is enabled, we can see only communication during the paring(advertizing) and no data packets are visible. In this case central and peripheral communicates well with each other and the intended operation happens. The only thing is that we are not able to see the encrypted data packets using nRF52 tool.

"nRF Sniffer User Guide v2.2"says as below:

5.4 Just Works - sniffing an encrypted connection

To sniff a connection encrypted with Just Works: 1. Start the Sniffer if not already running. 2. In the Sniffer, choose the device from the Device drop-down list. 3. Initiate pairing between the devices if it does not happen automatically. The Sniffer will automatically decrypt encrypted packets.

We tried this way but in vain.

Please let us know what step we are missing.
