Minum requirements to flash NRF52840 on custom board

Hello,

I have created a custom board that uses a NRF52840.

From my understanding, i'm need only VDD,GND,SWDIO and SWCLK connected to the SOC to flash them by using an erxternal J-Link.

But i have no succes. So i will ask there, what are the minimum circurit requirements to flash the SOC.

Please Help.

  • As says, you need decoupling capacitors according to the reference layout, and to power the chip from somewhere else, as the JLink won't power it by itself.

If you're still not able to flash your chip, I would like to have a look at your schematics in order to see that everything is set up properly.

    Best regards,

    Simon
