Thingy 91 Has No GPS Lock, Not Compatible With LTE Link Monitor or Programmer

I just received and activated my new Thingy 91 and am very disappointed with results.  The module is sending data up to the cloud site and temperature / humidity are updating every couple seconds.  The Asset Tracker map constantly shows "Waiting for GPS Data..." even when placed outside with line of sight to all the visible satellites for 30 minutes.  I thought all your GPS issues were supposed to be fixed in the Thingy?  It's not a very impressive "Asset Tracker" if it can't track anything.  Additionally it is not compatible with the Programmer and LTE Link Monitor in nRF Connect v3.0.0 when plugged directly into my laptop USB port.  Link Monitor says No Devices Available and Programmer has an error message "LIBUSB error is detected...".  Can I assume you must use the DK board with 10 pin cable to talk to the Thingy with nRF Connect?

Hi,

Did you activate the GPS ? You need to press the button down for 10 seconds to activate it. When searching for GPS signal, the LED light will blink purple.

For LTE Link Monitor use, please uncheck the "Auto device/port filter" box located in the lower right corner of the app.

Success!!!  This would be a really nice fact to put in the Getting Started guide as step 5.  THANKS!  Just in time for a major customer demo.
