Use NRF51 dongle as iBeacon

I'm running the ble_app_beacon_s110_pca10028 example on my NRF51 dongle. The good news is that I see a beacon transmission on my iPhone 6 on this "Pally BLE Scanner" app. The bad news is that the UUID is not the same as the one that was set as APP_BEACON_UUID.

I've read that iBeacons transmissions are a little different from a normal BLE beacon transmissions. Will this sample code work for iBeacon transmissions? Or should I be trying another example?
