Unable to connect to the nRF52811 via nRF Connect Programmer

I have a custom PCB that I designed for use with the nRF52811.  I have tried to connect to it using the nRF Connect Programmer to program a Soft Device but I am unable to connect to it successfully.  When I start the Programmer app, the Programmer is able to connect and identify the chip but hangs when trying to read beyond the ID.  See below:

The initial connection operation hangs and the selection buttons such as Read and Erase never become active.  I have built two identical boards with nRF52811 with the same results.  As a comparison, I built a third board but used a nRF52832 instead and the Programmer app connects and complete the initial connection.  I am able to program a soft device, erase, etc. I am using a nRF52840 DK as the debugger.  I have tried to update the J-Link firmware but the January 2019 firmware appears to be the latest that I can find.

Any help would be appreciated.

After some asking around, I got my hands on an nRF52811 chip myself, and it seems nRFConnect doesn't support the nRF52811 as of yet. I have confirmed that the nRF Command Line Tools supports it though, so you should be able to program it like that. You should also be able to program the chip using SEGGER Embedded Studios or Keil uVision I guess if you need to program it using a Mac.

I can't give you any details on if or when support for the nRF52811 on nRFConnect will be available, but you can contact your Regional Sales Manager (RSM) if you want more details on this.

    Best regards,
