Support for multiple connections in Master Emulator API

Devzone,

I'm working with the nrf51822 dev kit- specifically with master emuator API version 2.1.8. Does this current release of the API (2.1.8) or subsequent releases of master emulator API & dongle plan on supporting multiple simultaneous connections to peer devices?

Thanks! -Tyler

  • Hi Tyler,

We may support multiple peripherals in the future release of the master emulator. But I don't know when and I don't think it would be ready in a few months time.

  • Hi Hung Bui,

Do the current version of master emulator taken from the installation of MCP 3.10.0 support the multiple simultaneous connections.

  • This is a very old case. Current version of MCP is called nRF Connect. It supports multiple connection.

  • Is it possible to find the source code of nRF Connect pc application? I am creating a custom application which can connect multiple pear devices, and perform DFU. More information is here. I am using MasterEmulator.dll to perform BLE operations. If nRF Connect is the current version of MCP then I want to use it for my custom application.

  • Is it possible to find the source code of nRF Connect pc application. I am creating a custom application which can connect multiple, and was using MasterEmulator.dll to perform BLE operations.

  • Yes, you can find the source code of nRFConnect here.

The nRFConnect built on top of the pc_ble_driver, you can find the driver and bindings here.
