nrf9160-DK Cellular Modem update issue

Hi 

I want to update 9160-DK and I test two method.

The first methof is update by nrf-Connect and Programmer.

I was follow the post https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/49675/nrf9160-modem-firmware-v1-0-0-update

uninstall all nrf tool.

Re-install nRF-Command-Line-Tools_10_3_0_Installer.exe

Re-install nrfconnectsetup310ia32.exe

My computer device list show JLink CDC UART Port

After I click "Select device"

The log showed as below.

The second is drop hex file to JLINK OB USB disk

It still not work.

PS. The DK SW5 was switch to PROG/DEBUG.

Please help me to fix it.

So SW5 was set to nRF91 & not nRF52, correct? Is LED5 on the DK on when you plug in a USB cable & turn the DK on? What happens when you type in this in a command prompt:

nrfjprog -i

Did you remove nRF Connect for Desktop, download the executable from here & then reinstall v3.1.0? Which version of the link monitor are you currently running?

Could you please switch SW5 to nRF52 & try running nrfjprog -i again? Could you try with different USB cables & different USB ports too please? It seems something may be wrong with the interface MCU FW.

It was still nothing nomatter SW5 to nRF52 or nRF91.

The USB port and USB cable were correct connection on PCA10056 board.

I think the USB port and cable was ok.......

Could you please send me a picture of your nRF91 DK setup so that I can see all of the switches, etc?

You could try switching switch 1 & 2 in different positions, but I do not think this will make a difference. Do you have the v0.8.2 nRF91 DK board? You can see this on the white sticker on the back of the DK.
