nRF Connect V4.22.3 Advertiser (Android)

I'm trying to create a virtual beacon on an Android Phone using nRF connect V4.22.3. Android Version on the phone is 8.1.0.

I've enabled a beacon using Advertiser. However, I'm not able to see the Virtual Beacon, enabled using nRFconnect, running on the Android phone using beacon scanners from other devices.

Does "Periodic Advertisement Supported = NO" (in Device Information) not allow BLE transmissions?

I'm able to scan for other beacons using the Android Phone using nRFconnect and other beacon scanners. So, BLE seems to work.

Appreciate any input on trying to get Advertisement mode working using nRFConnect.

When setting up the advertising packet in nRFConnect for Android, have you checked the scannable option checkbox? I just tested this myself, and you should be able to discover your device like this. By giving it a distinct device name, it will be easier to spot it. On what device have you set Periodic Advertisement Supported = NO?

    Best regards,

    Simon
