So far there are only a few devices that support Coded Phy. Is there any Bluetooth adapter that I connect (for example using OTG) to a smartphone (without built-in support) to be able to use Bluetooth 5 long range feature?

Hi,
I am not aware of any such product. I would be surprised if it exists. And if it does, it may not be very elegant, since it will probably not be easy to integrate with the BLE stack on the mobile device.
Do you know any alternative? It does not have to be elegant. I just need a long range transceiver for Android smartphones that can be used in my app.

I dont' know of any, unfortunately. I have looked a bit, but I have not found any. I suspect this is because it is probably not possible to do it (at least not with a reasonable amount of effort and usability). I think your only practical option is to buy a new (for the moment high-end) phone if you really need LE Coded Phy on the phone.
Which phones support LE Coded Phy? As far as I know, One Plus 6 and Samsung Galaxy S10+. Are there any tests of LE Coded Phy and these phones?
An alternative might be a to communicate with a transceiver device using USB serial.
Hi,
I do not have a list of phones supporting long-range, but If I had, it would probably be very short at this point. I am only aware of the One Pluse 6 ans Galagy S10+ as of (same as you), but there may be a few more. I would expect that the number of phones supporting long-range will increase significantly in the coming couple of years.
