Problem adding Thingy:91 in the nRF Cloud

Hello,

I try to add a Thingy:91 to the nRF Cloud after I received it today. The sim card got's activated without a problem. When I try to key in my IMEI and the Pin which is printed on the label I receive this error: "There was an error adding your device. It wasn't found. Is it connected?"

How to solve this and add the device to my account?

    I tried it almost for the whole morning at different locations.. however I am not able to get the Thingy 91 connected. I waited  15 to 30 minutes average to get a signal. To me the SIM card is working I think - however the device is not able to connect.  when I do

    I am not able to understand what the device is actually doing. Neither does the log files say me anything. What should I do the device connect ?

  • I also sent a lot of AT+ cmds to the device which broke stuff for me. Just you might just let it rest. My thingy also connected to the cloud without turning all icons green in the LTE Link Monitor.
