Hi,
Have you tested with other iphone models as well? Does this issue occur on them too?
Hi, Yes its the same with the standard I phone 8
Looks like the option to share the file with the application is not there as it was in the last version . There is the option to share with google drive however using this method the application does not accept the firmware zip file. Currently I have reverted to the NRF toolbox application to upload firmware .
Hi dml,
Yes, we missed adding support for this. However, the app does support pulling in content through the Files App / Document Picker, or, you can also drag the zip files via iTunes into the app's container, and they will show up when you attempt to perform a DFU operation.
We will try and get this functionality back into nRF Connect 2.0 as soon as we can. Sorry for the inconveniences this might've caused you.
Hi dml
We managed to sneak this into our next release, which should be out in a couple of days (2.0.2).
Please test this and get back to us. I cannot guarantee you that it will be perfect, because it was heavily rushed, but we made an effort before we switched to feature development work (version 2.1)
Thanks!
