Thanks. In general, I'm looking for a way to send BLE custom services characteristics to cloud via a gateway (phone or stand alone device). Not particular to HTS services but I thought it will be a good starting point. If you have any other tutorials or examples on how I can send data from BLE device to nrfcloud, it will be helpful.

Hi.

I got reply from our development team;

For setting up the gateway (on a phone) there is a "Tour" menu on www.nrfcloud.com that can be enabled by starting the "Tour" and then trying to add a gateway and the "Tour" will give you step-by-step instructions.

Just click on "Take A Tour".

For the other question, our BLE gateways support all bluetooth devices, both standard and proprietary. So if you design your own proprietary BLE profile, the gateway supports this. All BLE characteristcs are basically translated to JSON by the gateway irrespective if they are standard SIG profiles or proprietary.
