how many channels for 2MBps (ESB) in nrf24l01+ ?

Hi!

Basically, what it says in the title.

Datasheet mentions that for 2Mbps mode (enhanced shock burst) spacing should be 2Mhz or more.

Does that mean that number of channels is (2525-2400)/2 = 62.5 so for practical purposes 62?

or is some further overhead involved?

Hi,

Yes, this is correct. We recommend having a channel between each channel that is used to avoid interference. You should only use channels between 1-83 if you want to pass FCC/ETSI regulations.

Hi, just to clarify this. I've an BL654DK (Laird) and there it's written that the RF range is from 2402-2480MHz.
If I'm planning to use 2Mpbs, this means that I'm using ~2MHz for each channel, right?
Therefore my range of available channels are:
(2480-2402) / 2 = 39

What happens if I call "esb_set_rf_channel(50)"?
Does it "modulate" the value to within the spectrum range?
