nRF Toolbox for iOS supported files

Hi all!

I've been trying to OTA firmware using iOS nRF Toolbox App. I'm able to read.hex files in the App, although, after trying to send the file to the device the format is not compatible with the latest DFU. In Android it is possible to use .bin/.dat and it works fine... Is there any other option to use .bin or .zip on iOS?

Hi Rp,

Currently the nRFToolbox on iOS only support hex file. You may need to modify the source code to accept other format. And the current nRFToolbox version, unfortunatelly doesn't support the current DFU bootloader from SDK v7.x. We are working on that and will release an update soon.
