Create a reset signal on nRF9160

Dear All,

On the http_application_update after the download is complete, in order to run the new firmware the user needs to press the reset button.

I would like to be able to reset the device automatically after the completion of the download.

But I couldn't find a way to  create a reset signal. Is there an easy way to do that? Is it even possible?

Hi Giannis,

Please include this in your main file: 

#include <misc/reboot.h>

and use the function:

sys_reboot(SYS_REBOOT_COLD);

to restart the application.

You also need to enable this functionality in the prj.conf file:

CONFIG_REBOOT=y
