Can I use IAR for nRF51 DK instead of Keil?

I'm wondering if I can use IAR Workbench to download SDK for nRF51DK rather than Keil. I want to develop a beacon that uses Bluetooth Smart. Can I do that in IAR?

Hi John, I'm a novice developer.

I tried the ibeacon example using IAR for ARM 7.1. (The example I'm talking about is located at nrf51822_6_1\Board\nrf6310\s110\ble_app_beacon)

I think you could do it in IAR.

One of the concerns is that you might need a proper license not to get the code size limit.

I tried the example with a license.

In short, I think it will work fine. Just to be sure, prepare a license.
