Can multiple nodes send sensor data to a central device.

Hi, I am developing 3 devices, two of these devices should act as nodes and send data from their respective IMU sensors to the 3rd device(central device). 

I have been looking at the mesh sdk but I am not sure if this is suitable because I have not seen anyone use nodes to send data. Is it possible to use nodes to send data to my central device? 

The nodes do not have to communicate with each other, they just have to individually send data to the central device.

If there are any other solutions, your input would be appreciated.

Sure - the whole point of a mesh is exactly to transfer data between nodes!

But, for just 3 devices (2 peripoherals, 1 central), a mesh is probably overkill.

The Nordic SoftDevices (ie, the BLE protocol stack) in Central mode can certainly support 2 peripherals - some up to 20. See the particular SoftDevice Specification for details...
