nRF51822 as BLE Beacon

Hello,

I a developing a system which consists of many BLE beacons over a given area and communicated between them forming a mesh. I would like to know whether nRF51822 can connect automatically with other BLE modules like ESP32? By the way I am not using an nRF51822 development board, instead, I am using something like what I've shown below.

Also please suggest me ways to programme it using Arduino or any programmers.

You will need at least one nRF51DK to develop your application on and program your modules with. 

If you prefer the Arduino environment then I suggest you look into the Adafruit Bluefruit/Feather.

Thanks for the reply haakonsh . I would like to know what more do I need to develop my applications with this? What is nRF51DK ? Please elaborate on that cauz I am a newbie in BLE, especially to nordic Products.
