How to program app for phone for nRF52 application communication? Is possible through SES?

Hello,

I have a PWM code that works as a peripheral application on my nRF52 DK, but now I want to set it to be controlled via android phone app. I have nrf connect on my phone and ran blinky through my phone, but how do i make my own custom android nrf connect app and then use it to control my DK?

No, SES is not for Android development.

If you look on Norfic's Github, you will find some Android resources; eg,

It won'r be specific to Nordic, so look at general Android developer resources

So I cant just program the phone application through the firmware in ses?

Apologies I meant that you have the code for the nRF52 DK, I'm calling that the firmware, and that some of these "firmware" examples seem to create phone applications for nrf connect via the code itself rather than through the android developer studio. Is this a correct interpretation?

There is no way to generate the Android application directly from the nRF52 firmware unfortunately. 

In addition to the resources linked by Andrew earlier I would suggest having a look at the Blinky Android source code, which is the quickest way to get started with a custom BLE application:

It uses the Android BLE library as a basis and adds a simple interface on top of it, to read and write to the button and LED characteristics in the Blinky service.

No.

The apps are developed separately, and just provided to assist the firmware development.
