sniffer works fine no mattter what baudrate I set

When I use nRF52840 dongle as a promiscuous packet sniffer, I found that sniffer works fine no matter how much I set the baud rate. This happens only on the dongle, so I want to know if there is a mechanism for adaptive baud rate on the dongle?

What else have you tried?

I think the dongle uses USB directly - not via a USB-to-UART converter - so baud rate is actually immaterial ?
