[SR3] The host tool for tuning audio search

Hi,

My customer have problem at tuning audio search based on SR3 reference code.

We would like to use the audio probe to record the raw wave file.

However , we knew the host tool was packaged at live CD.

Can we get the host tool directly from somewhere instead of installing an new system ?

Hi,

The live CD download from the SR3 Downloads page seems to be a broken link. I have reported the issue so it will be fixed. I will also attach the file here if I can get hold of it before the link is fixed.

Hi,

The recommendation is to use a virtual machine for the live CD. E.g. VirtualBox or similar.

If you already do have a machine set up with Ubuntu (or anything else Debian based) it should be possible to extract the required software from the live CD, but we do not have any guide for doing so. Main recommendation is to use the setup from the live CD. In any case you do need a Debian based GNU/Linux distribution for running the tools.
