production of nRf52840 Chip

Hello Nordic,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       I would like to know if there is production timeline of the nRF52840 Chip , I know it is a new product, but can you tell me if there a plans how long this chip will be in production before it may be replaced by a new chip?

Hi

There should be no reason to worry about the lifetime of the nRF52840. As of now, we still have the nRF24 series, which is ~10 years old, in production with no plans to take this out of production yet, and we don't have any plans of stopping production of the nRF52840 any time soon.
