The nRF905 chip can be setup to different payload length. 0-31 byte

Must RX and TX unit be setup to same payload length or can RX unit be setup to ex. 20 bytes and TX unit to 10 bytes.

 

Issue is that TX unit payload length can be variable to have as less air time as possible, can RX unit handle that when it doesn’t know how many bytes it will receive?

Hi,

It only support fixed length, so you need to pad the remaining data with '0's to fill the length as required by the receiver.
