nRF52832 Reference Layout files compatible with Cadence Allegro

I am designing a board based on the nRF52832 and wanted to examine the reference design files 'nRF52832-QFAx Reference Layout_v11.'.

However, The the downloadable files are for Altium Designer and I am using Cadence Allegro.

Are versions of these files available for Cadence Allegro?  Or, are copies of the files available that were saved in ascii format versus binary format (ascii format is importable into Allegro)?

Also, do you have a recommended footprint for the QFN48 package?

Hi Rand, 

Unfortunately, we do only have the design file/library for Altium. The QFN48 package is base on standard an IPC footprint.

May i obtain copies of the Altium design files saved in ascii format versus the binary formatted files available on the website?  If so, i can import those files to Cadence.

Hi Rand, 

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Altium supports exporting to Cadence Allegro or ASCII format.

Altium Design Viewer (https://www.altium.com/altium-designer-viewer) which has a free 6-month license if you want to open and view the Altium files. There is a list of formats you can export from Altium that maybe can be imported into Cadence Allegro.

Thank you for the link to the Altium Design Viewer.  Using the viewer,  I am able to investigate the reference layout in detail and extract the information I need.

Unfortunately, I am not allowed to export the files to a different format under the viewer licence.

Hi Rand, 

I have saved the files in for reference circuit nr 1 (nrf528323 qfaa with internal LDO setup) .ascii format. Are you able to see them? Let me know if you would like me to convert the files for other configurations of the reference design.
