Why is the MBR different?

I was comparing the binaries for the S120 and S110 stacks and see the MBR is different.

I was under the impression that the MBR never changes and was thus expecting it to be the same between S110 and S120 too.

Are the MBRs for S110 and S120 functionally the same? If not, what functional differences are there?

The only difference between them is that the mbr in s120 v2.0 has fixed a minor issue where the s110 mbr would allow bl_len in sd_mbr_command_copy_bl_t to be higher than the total available flash on the chip. The mbr in s120 will in this case return NRF_ERROR_INVALID_LENGTH.

The functionality is still the same.
