softdevice_handler deletes ble_enable_params for ble_stack_init()

Hi at all,

nice to join the community

At the moment I'll try to initialize the ble_stack_init(). I use the Keil v5 with the Softdevice s132 on the nrf52832.

So the problem is the following. If I try to get the ram_start in the softdevice_handler --> softdevice_enable, like the first picture shows, the next step of the programm deletes me the "p_ble_enable_params" (showing on the second picture)

As a consequence the next step: err_code = sd_ble_enable(p_ble_enable_params, &app_ram_base); - gives me back the error 4 because the "p_ble_enable_params" is "not in scope". And for this reason I can't initilize the ble-stack.

Maybe someone knows this Problem an can help me that it will not deleted :)

What SDK version are you using ?

Error 4 is the same as NRF_ERROR_NO_MEM. sd_ble_enable() will return this when you have not allocated enough RAM to the SoftDevice. If you have enabled logging, the correct value should be shown in the log.

If you are using SDK 15.3 / S132 6.1.1, you could try this configuration:

I use the SDK 11 / S132 v2.0.0 .

Yes this was my first idea too, that it could. But yes thank you, I enable the logging and then I'll see  
At the Moment I have the following configuration:

SDK 11 is ~3.5 years old. If you are in the early/mid stage of your project, I strongly recommend to use the latest SDK version instead! You can download SDK 15.3 from this page.

(That said, you could maybe try IRAM1 Start 0x20002080 and Size 0xDF80)

ok, sorry for the late answer. I changed with your advice to the SDK 15.3 and now it works.
