Reduction of current consumption at reset

“EBSHSN” is reset by the RESET pin when the control CPU shifts to sleep mode when the terminal device is stopped.
When measuring the current consumption in this state, about 6mA was consumed. Please tell me how to reduce the current consumption in the RESET state.
Thank you for your cooperation.

  • The reset pin has an internal pull up of around 13kohm, this will draw about 200uA. In addition most internal regulators are powered keeping the chip in reset state, which is another 200uA (if not more). Reset state is not a low power mode, so there is no way to avoid this current consumption.

Hence I would say your measurement of 600uA is with in the expected range, i.e. between 1mA and 400uA.
