Why nRF52832 DK damaged while debugging?

Hi to all,

I am using nRF52832 DK with SDK 15.0 version. My two nRF52 DK damaged while debugging I am a little bit confused why this happening.

When I debugging I used the reset button for 3-4 times automatically DK board LED OFF and disconnect J-link connection. Actually I tried USB remove and insert again but nothing any happening. The DK board LED not blinking and also not detect with the laptop. How I can repair this board? What will be the possibility to fix this hardware issue?

Because of the same things happened with my 2 nRF52 DK boards.

RTFM: The reset button puts the DKs Debugger MCU in bootloader mode when pressed at power-up.

You must flash new firmware, which can be downloaded on the product page for the DK. Caution: Do not try to flash anything else on the Debugging MCU - there is no safety net and you can damage the bootloader.

TL;DR hold reset button at power up and flash Interface MCU firmware from the DKs download page.

I was tried to flash a new firmware to my damaged DK but my board is not detecting with my laptop. When I connect USB with DK nothing any LED ON. 

What's problem is hardware or firmware?

How I can check the hardware is safe and not damaged?

When I power up to my DK no LED is blinking on board. When I pressed or hold reset button nothing any happening.

I see. But have you tried to hold down the reset button while power cycling the board, and releasing the button after the board has been powered? This puts the interface MCU in DFU mode so that it can be updated. The reason I ask about this is that the typical problem when the DK seems unresponsive and no LEDs are lit is that the interface MCU has been corrupted for some reason.

Please check if you get LED5 (next to the largest IC, which is the onboard debugger / Interface MCU) blinking by pressing reset when power cycling the board, and let me know the result. If the LED starts blinking, then you should download the interface firmware from here and drag and drop it to the removable drive that appears on your computer called "BOOTLOADER". This is essentially what Turbo J suggested, and is highly likely to solve the problem.

Great, It worked and now my DK board firmware has updated and able to develop an application.
