How to setup GPIOTE for set and clear tasks?

I'm attempting to setup GPIOTE for an output that is set and cleared by different events. The GPIOTE driver doesn't let me initialize an output twice. Is there a way to do this with the set and clear tasks rather than using the toggle task? I'm fine with using two GPIOTE and PPI channels.

I'm developing on the nRF52840 using SDK 15.3.

Unfortunately each pin can have only one task assigned to it:

So you either need to use toggle or reconfigure the task after each event.

Actually I was able to connect two separate PPI channels to one GPIOTE channel/pin. One to the SET task and the other to the CLR task.

I had missed calling nrfx_gpiote_out_task_enable(pin). Everything works fine now.

You are right, I was thinking of the nRF51-series were this is not possible.
