Thingy:91 does not give GPS location

I have been working with Thingy:91 for three weeks now. Everything works nicely, however, I could not get any GPS location from it. I am using Rogers simcard which is a local operator in my location(Canada) and the device successfully enters PSM after pressing the button for 10 seconds. I am testing the device on the open area( balcony) and other sensors work properly and LTE connection is well established. I even changed the modem firmware to v1.0.1 but still no GPS location. Using LTE Link monitor I can see that the device enters PSM and tries to find GPS location but is not successful. I am using the latest application firmware too( downloaded from the Thingy:91 webpage). I tested the device with this condition for several hours and many days but still nothing. Can anyone please help me? Is this a known issue? How can I solve it?

Thanks for the help. I was sure that because I am using a local simcard the device would go to PSM! Now Apparently it does not. Is there any AT command that I can issue to see if the device enters PSM or not?
