JLINK and BOOTLOADER do not appear in File Manager for nRF52840DK

I have followed the getting started, with my new nRF52840DK, with switches at:

       Sw6 Default

       Sw8 On

       VDD selected

when plugged into the USB, LED 5 blinks rapidly, LED 1-4 pulse if respective BTN pressed, but JLINK does not appear in File Manager.  As such I cannot open J-LINK Commander to run any commands.

If I hold Reset during reboot, LED 5 blinks slowly, and LED1-4 keep the same behavior, yet nothing new appears in File Manager.

What am I missing, how do I get the DK to appear as presented?

The device should have shown up as a mass storage device named "BOOTLOADER" if you hold the reset button during reboot. Do you have access to a different PC that you can try this on? Also, try with a different USB cable if possible.
