Unable to flash or debug Thingy91 using nRF Connect 3.2.0 and Programmer

Hi,

I have some issues flashing or debugging my Thingy91. The problem seems to be related to my specific Thingy91, as I have another Thingy91, which I'm able to flash and debug using the exact setup. I'm not sure what the issue could be, which is why i'm reaching out. Part from not being able to debug and flash the thingy, it works as it should, meaning that it can connect to a Cat-M network and send data to the nRF Cloud etc. The reason why I need to flash it is because I want to add the new certificates for the nRF cloud, so that I can use a MQTT client to listen to its messages. This is unfortunately not possible with my current set up,since you changed the process for this recently.

Thanks

  • Hi Joakim,

    I can confirm that we currently have issues related to programming the thingy:91, with nrfjprog v10.3.0, and I can assure you that we are working on fixing this in the best possible way.

    The current workaround for programming successfully is:

    * Call "nrfjprog -e"

    * Power cycle the thingy:91

    * Program the thingy:91 with the wanted firmware

    Could you try this and report back if you still see issues?

    My apologies for the inconvenience.

    Kind regards,

    Håkon
