  • I have a same problem. I cannot add the nRF9160-DK to nRF cloud because the device will not go to the pairing state(getting Socket error: POLLHUP). I have an old devkit without a PIN. I have updated the modem SW and also certificates. Device was working earlier and suddenly stop working so i removed the device from the nRF cloud. Now try to add it back.

  • exactly my issue!

I have even done the following steps:

    1. removed the device from cloud

    2. completely deleted my account and opened a new one

    3. replaced both SIM card and board

    4. updated modem FW

I too have an old devkit without a PIN  (but new HW version 0.8.5)

it also worked for me very well until last week

I suspect it's due to a new update on NRF cloud ...
