Hi,
We would like to connect other SIM card than iBasis's SIM card with nRF9160.
How can we register sim cards to nRF Cloud?
Can we register by inserting ICCID and PUK on the iBasis popup window?
Kind regards,
Susumu

Hi
I'm sorry, but it's not possible to register other SIM cards to nRFCloud I'm afraid, you'll have to register other SIM cards on their respective web sites, and then connect the LTE device (nRF9160DK or Thingy:91) to nRFCloud.
Best regards,
Simon
Hi,
Is this still true? If so, can someone explain what you mean with:
"you'll have to register other SIM cards on their respective web sites, and then connect the LTE device"
Could I use my private SIM card from Telia (Sweden). I guess it is already registered?
In the end once the SIM card is registered at the operator, will things run as normal in nRF cloud? So I can continue your starting guides?
Best regards,
Tom Karlsson
Hi Tom
Can you please create a new ticket with your question(s) please. This case is more than 2 years old, and I don't personally have an updated overview of how other SIM cards should be used. If you do, an engineer with more experience on this than me will be assigned to it, and be able to help you get going.
Feel free to link to this case in your new ticket if you feel it's relevant.
Best regards,
Simon
