BLE Scan on nRF52811

hi,

how can i scan for other BLE advertisments on nrf52811? there is no official documentation showing how to have Central role on nrf52811 softdevices! and no support in nRF SDK for that. what is the best practice you recommend to have BLE Scan functionality on nrf52811.

If you are usig nRF52811 as a single chip solution using S112 or S113, then those softdevices does not have central capabilities.

If you want to use it as a connectivity chip with a dedicated application code, you can flash S140 into your nRF52811 and use central capabilities normally. Look at the compatibility matrix of what softdevices that can be used on this chip.

i want to have a simple application on nRF52811 rev.1 that sometimes Scans for other peripherals and sometimes advertises as a peripheral.

But, as already noted, anything with a Central role is not really "simple" !
