nRF52 HID App paired with iOS but not Android

I used nRF52 SDK V15 and tried to load the sample BLE HID apps into the nRF52-DK Development Board.

I tested both ble_app_hids_keyboard and ble_app_hids_mouse. Both apps worked and paired with the iPhone, but not on the Android phone Galaxy A10e running Android V9 and Kernel V4.4. The nRF52 device doesn't even show up when I go to 'Settings', 'Bluetooth' on the Android phone, but it showed up in other apps such as BLE Explorer.

I would appreciate any suggestion to resolve this issue.

Hi,

If the mouse is already bonded with iphone, then it will not allow other devices to connect. You either need to erase bonds on the mouse (power up the board while pushing the erase button) or restart advertisement without whitelist (check out the ble_advertisment module).

What is the erase button?

There are 4 buttons on the nRF52-DK besides the reset button.
