Comparison of the Zephyr Bluetooth stack vs. the Nordic soft device implementation?

Hello,

Zephyr has their own Bluetooth stack. Has anyone done an objective comparison of the Zephyr stack to the NRF52 soft device stack? I am very familiar with the soft device implementation. However, I am starting a new development with Zephyr and would appreciate help understanding the tradeoffs.

Is it true that mbed has its own BLE Stack?

If so, is it also different from Zephyr?

Hi,

mbed uses the SoftDevice for nRF devices. Zephyr has it's own BLE stack, which works with nRF5 devices.
